Located in south-western Cyprus and southeast of the city of Paphos, the Paphos International Airport is the country’s second largest airport after Larnaca International Airport. The new terminal building of Paphos (Pafos) airport was inaugurated in November of 2008. It covers an area of 20.000 sq. meters, which has the capacity to serve 2.7 million passengers per year.
Paphos or Pafos is one of the major tourist resorts in Cyprus located on the southwest coast of the island. It offers the possibility of enjoying both coastal areas and mountainous landscapes and it is sheltered from the north by the breathtaking Troodos Mountains and with its temperate climate it is one of the healthiest in the whole of the Mediterranean.
